St. Patrick CYO is an all volunteer coaching organization. We do not hire coaches. We always aim to identify the best coaches from our group of community members based on actual playing experience, experience coaching basketball, and experience coaching other youth sports in that order. However, there is no place like St. Pat's CYO to get your start. Assisting with a more experienced coach is always an option. Please indicate if you would like to coach (head or assistant). Please note that this will have no bearing on the placement of your child on an A or B team. We will create the A team, then review the coaching requests and make assignments as needed for each grade level. Noting your interest does not guarantee you will be identified as the Coach for a team if there are more coaches then teams. Though it is certainly possible to connect and assist or help in practices on assigned teams. If there are no coaches identified in your grade level, we will solicit all parents in the grade level, then we will beg.
